The Baseball Stadium

Taipei City Baseball Court is at Zhongcheng Rd. and Shidong Rd.intersection, original design is a professional court which can admits twenty thousand seats, but because the opposition of the local population, it change to the community court and only can admits six thousand people. It start using at 1990. 2001 Taipei is the Fourteenth World Baseball Championship host city, in order to be international events site, it especially annexed four thousand seats at infield periphery both sides, become a ten thousand seats court. Moreover, there has Graduate Institute of Sports Equipment Technology, three hitting classrooms, two indoor Pitcher's mound, indoor rock climbing...etcetera fir standard international competitions space in the court. After CPBL and Taipei government repeated coordination to the population, finaly the game formal start in 2002/5/11. Because the equipment has big screen and electric board, , Tianmu Baseball Court become a famous court in north Taiwan soon. Because of the world universidad the tianmu baseball stadium will be closed of for maintenece and reconstruction our team have also used weekdays to visit the stadium and it's a really good and big stadium apart from from the carchitecture, it can be used for promotion of culture and the perfect venue for many games.
